EMMARIE WILSON
Emmarie (she/her) is currently located in the Rockford/Chicago area, though grew up in Fort Worth Texas, and went to high school in central Arkansas.
This spring, Emmarie will graduate with her BFA in Acting from Rockford University, where she has spent the last four years in training. While at Rockford University, she had frequent opportunities to perform, become single sword and unarmed stage-combat certified, and learn from industry professionals. During the summer of 2023, she had the pleasure of working as the administrative intern for Argenta Contemporary Theatre. This summer she expanded her scene shop experience by shadowing under RU’s Technical Director and Department Chair, Beth Drog. Though focused on her education these last four years, Emmarie has enjoyed performing professionally with Artist’s Ensemble Theatre during their past two seasons as well.
When she is not performing or working in the theatre at some capacity, Emmarie loves to write. For three years she has been a University Writing Center consultant, and has taken every English or Creative Writing class possible. During the Fall 2024 semester she wrote, directed, and performed her one-woman show centered around the extraordinary woman known as Hrotsvitha von Gandersheim. Other hobbies of hers include reading fantasy novels, travel, cooking with the people she loves, impromptu tea parties, and spending time with her pets Millie and Murphy.
